What is Maawa?

Do people living on a Maawa site need an app or an account?
No. Scanning the QR code on a unit opens a web page — there is no app to install and no account to create. That matters where phones, literacy and data plans vary.
Does Maawa OS require Maawa X shelters?
No. Maawa OS works on units an organisation already owns — tents, caravans or containers — by printing labels and attaching them. Maawa X is not required.
